New world record for a bass!

At 22 pounds 5 ounces it beats the old world record by less than an ounce which for some reason makes it a tie with the old one. If it weighs more than it's the new record is it not? Apparently not according to the rules. It has to weigh two ounces more. It's in Japan anyway. The old record lasted 77 years! That's a long time. Now American bassers will be headed to Lake Biwa to catch those big fish. It is said the lake may be the oldest lake in the world. I don't know how they can figure that out. Oh well, at least it has finally happened. Guys have been talking about that old record fish forever. There is even a conspiracy theory or two about it.
